Montgomery College to Host

Parents Without Partners (PWP) is a single parent support group for all single parents and their children. Single moms can receive help and assistance in all cities and counties across the state of Maryland. Assistance programs aid with free food, housing costs, rent, energy bills, mortgages, free health care, and more. Maryland Child and Adult Care Food Program Meals and snacks served in eligible child care centers, adult day care centers, family child care homes, and after-school programs are being reimbursed by the Maryland Child and Adult Care Food Program. Meals and snacks must meet specific nutrition requirements, in order to be eligible for cash reimbursement. For more information on the program, please call Maryland School Breakfast and Lunch Program Schools can now offer a nutritious school breakfast and lunch with the help of the funding provided by the School Breakfast and Lunch Program. Provided that the meal meets established nutrition standards, schools receive Federal funds for each breakfast served.

One workshop is designed for mothers, and one is created for the father's perspective. Before they reach the age of 18, one of out of every two children in the United States will have lived in a single-parent home at some point in their lives. If you are a single parent, you know it can be overwhelming for both you and your children. We exist to help the drowning emerge, to help the strong become stronger. Our network is full of members with healthy, restored lives, and we are proud to have been to be there to help along the way. Queen for a Day was developed for any single mother, adoptive, or grandmother raising children on their own; no matter the circumstance we want to honor you.

Parents Without Partners PWP is a single parent support group for all single parents and their children. PWP is a C3 educational organization promoting single parents and their children. It is not a dating organization. Although some members have met through the organization, this is not the primary purpose of PWP.
